TIme for A Change. Pt. 2

Okay, now that you've successfully whipped you cabinets, closets and miscellany into shape, take a look around. Are you still feeling underwhelmed? Bored with your decor? If so, cross the threshold into step 2.

Step 2: Repurpose, Rearrange, Repeat.

If you are anything like me, you've got a ton of inventory. Nightstands, rugs, tables, knickknacks, linens, pillows, artwork - you name it! Don't constrain your decor to a lifetime of unvarying existence! Move your couches, swap out your rugs, take artwork from your living room and put it in the guest room. You'll be incredibly surprised at some of the inspired rooms you'll create... all with your own stuff!

It's incredibly liberating to change things around - and free! You may drive your family crazy, but its all in the name of living a happily hectic life!

If this all seems too much for you, get some inspiration from one of my madly modish inspirations - the one, the only Jonathan Adler!

My Prescription for Anti-Depressive Living
This book is amazing!

Just remember, there are no rules for decorating other than to create a space you WANT to be in. As long as you decorate with pieces you love, they will go anywhere you put them.

Take a look at an amazing room re-do done by Layla and Kevin of The Lettered Cottage.

From one beautiful room...

To another equally beautiful, but switched up, room.
